Detailed info Perched on the highest slopes of the Graves appellation, Château de Carolle reflects the richness of its clay-gravel terroir. At 70 to 113 metres above the Brion valley, vines averaging 25 years enjoy ideal ripening conditions. After an 18-day maceration, the wine matures half in cement vats without sulfites and half in oak barrels for nine months. The result: an elegant, structured wine true to its terroir—perfect with the classic steak frites.
