From a series of small batches, this 4‑year‑old whisky is distilled from corn, rye, and water sourced from St‑Maurice, first discovered in 1894. Light and easy‑drinking, it develops a complex and highly aromatic profile evoking fruit and spice, while notes of toasted nuts and leather slowly emerge as it begins to open up. The palate is mineral, floral, and coated with a lovely honeyed texture. The rye also makes itself known through its spicy notes, accompanied by a gentle flavour of toasted hazelnut reminiscent of fresh bread. Delicate and warm, the finish lingers beautifully.”Excerpt from the producer’s website
