Detailed info Gérard Antoine is part of this generation of winemakers who question themselves. Following in his father Henri’s footsteps in 1984, he pushed this grand Saint-Chinian estate to evolve through a replanting, a new cultural approach and well-mastered winemaking. With a large proportion of Syrah, Clos de l’Olivette is given a more robust profile with some aging in new French casks. The result is an ample and fleshy wine, marked by flavours of tapenade, tar, spices, violet, wood and black fruits. Delicious served next to lamb tajine with black olives.
